KRT is coating its new vans with Maxam Logo
KRT’s £250,000 investment in striking new delivery fleet
UK, July 9th, 2014
Kings Road Tyres has invested more than £250,000 to update its wholesale delivery fleet with the purchase of 15 new Renault Master vans, supplied by Renault Truck Midlands.

The new fleet is strikingly liveried, combining the KRT logo with branding from MAXAM, the construction and OTR tyre manufacturer.

Each vehicle is equipped with the latest security and vehicle tracking technology, with forward facing cameras fitted to help prevent fraudulent accident claims. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are monitored by the TomTom ecoPLUS system, to maximise fuel consumption and help reduce fuel bills and emissions.

With KRT providing a daily delivery service covering truck, bus, coach, van, agricultural, OTR, industrial, construction and passenger car tyres to thousands of trade customers across the UK, route planning and fuel efficiency are major considerations for the fleet operation.

Commenting on the fleet investment, Tim Bader, KRT Group Operations Manager says: “The new vehicles will operate out of our regional distribution centres to provide fast, efficient and responsive service to our customers and stockists. We’re delighted with the service received from our supplier, Renault Truck Midlands, and also the support from Maxam, whose branding makes the vehicles really distinctive and eye-catching.”
