New AGRIXTRA Proves A Hit In Spain
MAXAM distributor predicts high demand after exhibition feedback
Valladolid, February 5th, 2015
The AGRIXTRA MS951R agricultural tire – the first agricultural tire from MAXAM – made its Spanish debut in early February at the AGRARIA 2015 exhibition. This show is based in Valladolid and is one of the top three in the country for agricultural machinery; this year it attracted 25,000 visitors to the 252 stands over the four days of the show.

One of the exhibitors was MAXAM Tire; sharing a 20 m2 stand with their Spanish distributor, Recambios Frain, and the highlight of the products on show was the all-new AGRIXTRA MS951R in size 460/85 R38. The presence of a new brand of agricultural tire in the market was a talking point among the many visitors to the MAXAM stand.

Visitors to the AGRARIA show have a reputation for in-depth product knowledge and appreciation – something which Kevin Buckley, MAXAM’s Sales Manager, Europe, said became apparent from the numerous questions they asked and their comments about the new tire. Indeed, when speaking after the show about the quality of the visitors, Juan Useros, the CEO of the organisers of AGRARIA, said: "What is important is the profile of the visitors; they are farmers who buy agricultural machinery".

It was not only the visitors who were enthusiastic about the new tire, as Francisco Dorado, of Recambios Frain, described himself as “excited to be the official importer” and is already stocking up his warehouse to meet the expected demand. To a large extent, this expectation is based on the feedback from visitors to the show, as Francisco revealed that he had had many enquiries, asking when there would be stocks of the new AGRIXTRA tires available for testing.
