MAXAM Tire Debuts Its Biggest Mining Rigid Haul Truck Tire at the 2021 MINEXPO

Showcasing MAXAM’s advancement in the mining industry at booth 27811 South Hall

[Danvers, Massachusetts, August 19th, 2021] MAXAM Tire North America will be showcasing its advancement and growth in the mining industry at the MINEXPO 2021 in Las Vegas, NV, Sep 13th-15th, booth #27811 in South Hall. Visitors will explore the advantages that truly differentiate MAXAM Tire from its competitors. The company will be displaying its largest mining tire, the 53/80R63 MS453, along with other products that provide a comprehensive solution to maximize mining operations globally.

A highlight of the show includes MAXAM’s 63-inch tire, the MS453, recently introduced as MAXAM’s first-ever 63-inch tire. Designed to handle the most severe challenges on haul roads, the MS453 features an aggressive, unique tread design and reinforced sidewall. Manufactured using a proprietary, two-stage method that involves improved placement of the belt and tread package on the casing, the MS453 is produced at the highest standard. The MS453 has undergone extensive testing at mine sites in Nevada, U.S.A. as well as other global locations, surpassing customers’ expectations.

“We look forward to educating customers on the MAXAM advantage for the mining industry at the show,” says Matt Johnson, VP of MAXAM Mining Group. The release of the 63-inch program completes the series of rigid haul truck tires to the market. “Our commitment to the 63-inch, which is an integral part of the mining industry’s future, defines our dedication to being a serious global business partner for the industry.”

In addition, to highlight its full range of OTR solutions, the company will display several mining support equipment tires that play an essential role in the success and productivity of mining operations. One of them being the MS405, recently OEM approved by CAT®. Featuring a deep E4/L4 lug pattern that combines excellent grip, stability, and performance, the MS405 provides users a solution that meets all harsh demands. Designed to minimize vibration at higher cycle speeds, the MS405 provides loaders, graders, and earthmovers the lowest cost-per-hour for the industry. Similar to its other OEM-approved OTR products, the MS405 marks a key accomplishment and MAXAM’s commitment to bringing quality solutions to the market.

“Our OEM-approved products show how MAXAM continues to bring performance-driven solutions to customers globally,” said Troy Kline, President of MAXAM North America. “Our objective is to provide customers with products that increase their productivity and to focus on providing the best customer experience. We are not just a tire company, we’re a true business solutions provider.”

Using the opportunity at one of the biggest global mining shows, MAXAM hopes to emphasize the natural progression of the company becoming a bigger player in the large mining tire business. Performing at a level that makes its offerings extremely competitive with other top manufactures, MAXAM Tire has invested heavily in their large OTR tire line for haulage applications. MAXAM Tire will continue to invest more into the development of new and improved products, bringing comprehensive global solutions that exceed expectations.
