MAXAM TIRE UNVEILS HIGH-PERFORMANCE MS700 MADE WITH ECOPOINT3TM COMPOUND

Challenging the industry with unparalleled performance and efficiency

Sept. 13th, 2022, DANVERS, MA – MAXAM Tire, a global leader in specialty tire manufacturing, makes another breakthrough in engineering, developing an unparalleled solution for the tire industry. Unveiling an additional high-performance material handling tire program, MAXAM Tire adds the MS700 resilient solid to its existing industrial tire series. Similar to the recently launched MS600 press-on solid, the MS700 will be developed in the newly opened, fully owned state-of-the-art solid tire factory. Continuing to raise the industry’s standards, the MS700 resilient will encompass the all-new “liquid gold” patent-pending compound technology, EcoPoint3TM, delivering unmatched performance and productivity to the industry.

EcoPoint3TM compounding, otherwise known as the “liquid gold” technology, tackles major challenges in the tire industry: rolling, skid, and wear resistance. This patented process allows the new MS700’s liquid-mixed masterbatches to be produced with less filler, higher ratios of stress at elongation, and minimum proportions of impurities. The liquid-phased process subsequently produces optimum consistency and a leading-edge compound. The unparalleled skid, wear and rolling resistance provides a stronger, safer, and more energy-efficient tire that represents a breakthrough in performance and productivity.

Manufactured in MAXAM’s solid tire factory with advanced automation processes, the resilient series has the highest quality, filler-free, three-stage compound construction that produces evenly layered compound uniformity, guaranteeing optimum safety for all forklifts. Simplifying productivity for industrial applications globally, the MS700 features a five-degree sidewall taper and a unique tread for optimal combination of traction and tire life. By incorporating a superior center compound with unmatched heat resistance and shock absorption, the MS700 is ideal for the most demanding industrial applications.

Developed for maximum lifting capabilities, even for applications used in port, the MS700 has one of the widest footprints in its class.  Designed with a distinctive tread pattern and smooth centerline, this product yields an optimal combination of traction and tread life while also enhancing steering and preventing chunking in aggressive applications.

“Continuing the innovative development of the press-on MS600 we launched earlier this year, and creating the evolutionary EcoPoint3TM compound technology, the new MS700 series represents MAXAM Tire’s commitment to providing unmatched performance, value, and efficiency to the industrial market. Focusing on simplifying productivity when creating the series, we are confident that the new programs will boost industry standards globally and provide the solutions that our customers deserve,” says Troy Kline, President of MAXAM Tire North America.

MAXAM on When a Producer Should Replace Their Agricultural Tires

June 20, 2022 Technical Bulletin

In the agricultural industry, it is how the equipment is utilized or the inherent operational requirements that will affect the tire replacement cycle. As agricultural tires are considered off-road and not US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated, there are no firm rules to determine when an ag tire absolutely needs to be replaced....

When should you replace solid OTR tires?

May 16, 2023 Technical Bulletin

While solid OTR tires require zero maintenance and are built to last much longer than foam filled pneumatics, they still have a certain life span. Although these tires don’t require the maintenance pneumatic off-the-road tires require, MAXAM recommends operations inspect their solid OTR tires every now and then.
