[Danvers, Massachusetts, March 2nd, 2021] Bringing evolutionary performance to the waste and recycling industries, MAXAM is pleased to reintroduce the MS708 solid off-the-road tire. Manufactured in the state-of-the-art specialty solid tire facility located in Vietnam, the MS708 has been developed on the history of solid tires. Paving the way for the next generation in solid tire technology, MAXAM has engineered the MS708 solid tire to provide the industry with evolutionary performance.
With waste and scrap metal industries becoming more demanding than ever, MAXAM’s experts took the previous generations of solid tires and innovated a product that has been evolved to deliver only the best results in performance, durability, and reliability. Featuring an innovative high traction and wearable tread pattern with 50% tread rubber, the MS708 delivers the deepest wearable tread in the market. Increasing its footprint as it wears and transitions through four distinct tread patterns, the MS708 ends in standard L5 pattern to provide maximum tire life. Incorporating a 25% heat dissipating body, the MS708 delivers effective heat dissipation and superior ride quality.
Unlike many other two-stage competition tires, the MS708 features an all-rubber three-stage construction, providing maximum heat and cut resistance along with superior ride comfort. Reinforced with four radial bead base, the maximum tensile strength makes this tire a perfect solution even in the hardest and toughest working environment. With a 65-durometer center compounding, the MS708 dissipates heat faster for extended operation, making it the most durable tire in the industry. Designed with patented Double-D apertures that decrease stress crack in the tire and absorb shocks, the MS708 provides the comfort operators need while delivering maximum productivity.
In today’s competitive market with many solid OTR options, MAXAM believes in providing the industry with a solution that offers the lowest cost-per-hour without compromising performance. In few site studies and performance feedback from customers, the MS708 provides 40% lower cost-per-hour than competitor and exceeds the competitor’s hours by 27%. The MS708 is manufactured using technologically advanced equipment and a proprietary building and curing process. This process, unlike most manufacturers, eliminates tread separation and delamination defects (such as trapped air between rubber layers and porosity) for extended wear rates.
Delivering minimal downtime and improved productivity with both smooth and traction tread designs, the MS708 is available in multiple sizes making it the ultimate game changer in the solid OTR industry. The MS708 mounts on standard multi-piece earth mover rims for wheeled loaders operating in the most severe waste, recycling, foundry, and demolition applications.
