Held in Beijing in May 27th – 29th, 2021, China International Mining Expo (CIME) is the most professional mining expo in China and one of the most representative and influential mining expos in the world. CIME has gathered over 3,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions including China, Germany, USA, Russia, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Chile, Sweden, Finland etc. since its foundation in 2012. Sailun Group’s specialty tire brand MAXAM showcased its top-quality mining tires at the expo, drawing the attention of industry leaders, dealers, end users, media, and other exhibitors.
The mining industry plays a vital role in driving global economic recovery and development, as well as serving a key engine for economic growth in many countries. Since its establishment, the China International Mining Expo in Beijing has been providing a platform for technical exchanges as well as advancing economic and trade cooperation among mining companies. Known as China’s top mining expo, it has developed into an influential expo that focuses on emerging trends in the global mining industry.
Sailun Group has always been committed to R&D and technological advancement, as the company seeks to provide safer and more wear-resistant solutions to users across the world. In the past years, MAXAM Tires has established a global R&D, production, sales, and services network, paving the way for quality performance and efficient services to global customers. The MAXAM brand has also gained widespread attention and recognition in the industry.
MAXAM displayed its top products at the expo, including special tires used by Caterpillar® and XCMG®. Sailun Group’s Eco-Rubber Cloud online industrial platform for the rubber and tire industry was also showcased at the expo. The platform can realize the interconnection of data among companies, upstream and downstream supply chain partners across various sectors. It has also established a supply chain mechanism and data lake to implement global optimization of resources and empower partners, achieving major cost efficiency. In addition, the platform focused on the demonstration of the smart TIMP special tire system, which features real-time monitoring of data and provides early warning alerts such as tire temperature, air pressure in tires and mileage. The system facilitates digital tire management and data analysis to prolong tire life and cut costs, while providing support for global mining companies to pursue digital transformation.
MAXAM received a boost in brand awareness with a strong product lineup and showcase of its latest technological achievements at the expo. Through networking with OE clients and the Group’s customers around the world, the company has expanded its sales channels and set sights on increasing its market share.
Some of MAXAM’s key successes include growing distribution channels, increased market share in China and expanded global presence. The company has established one of the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturers, Caterpillar®, as one of its major clients. MAXAM has also supplied products to other large companies such as XCMG®, SANY®, NHI®, XEMC®, Deutz-Fahr®, Doosan®, and Joskin®. The products include large mining dump trucks, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, forestry equipment and material handling equipment.
Customers have recognized MAXAM’s excellent market performance throughout the years. MAXAM has achieved “zero defects in product quality” and “no late deliveries” while supplying products and services to Caterpillar®. Recently, the company’s 53/80R63 MS453, the world’s largest tire, was successfully fitted on a mining truck in an open-pit coal mine in Inner Mongolia. The giant tires provide superior performance in the most demanding mining environments with maximum tire life, yielding maximum value and minimum cost-per-hour/km for users.
As an important part of the mining industry supply chain, Sailun and MAXAM Tire will continue to focus on R&D advancement, cutting-edge manufacturing, producing more mining tires that meet the diverse needs of clients.
